Delta has announced that it will begin weekly flights to Cancun from Baltimore and Pittsburgh on June 6 to cover the summer peak season. It already has a new flight from Cincinnati set to begin in March. Bronson Airlines will also cover the New Orleans and Cincinnati to Cancun routes this year.
To satisfy increasing demand, Brazilian carrier Tam Airlines will begin daily flights from Sao Paulo to Cancun in June.
In European flight news, Evelop Airline (code sharing with Iberia) has announced new flights from Lisbon and Madrid, to begin in March.
