Xperiencias Xcaret announced that a huge free flight aviary is due to open this summer at Xcaret. This spectacular addition to the park’s list of attractions will be home to more than 70 species of birds native to southeast Mexico, including macaws, parrots, toucans and great curassow.
The Xoximilco Park just south of Cancun Airport is also being expanded with a second phase and visitors will already see some new additions such as a traditional white chapel dedicated to Niñopa, the statue of Baby Jesus traditionally revered in the original Xochimilco district on the outskirts of Mexico City, and El Mercado, an area of craft shops showcasing Mexican folk art.
Xenses, Xperiencias Xcaret’s new park in the Riviera Maya will celebrate and captivate the senses and is planned for winter 2015.
