Located in the Ciudad de la Alegria community center on the outskirts of Cancun, the Mano Amiga School is celebrating its fifth anniversary. Since it opened its doors, nearly 6,000 children from underprivileged households have been able to continue their studies and fulfill their academic potential. In fact, students from the first generation of high school pupils are now ready to start university.
The Royal Resorts Foundation raises money to provide 144 scholarships for children attending the Mano Amiga School.
