Great news for Royal golfers, Cancun’s latest golf course, Puerto Cancun has signed up to our golf program and will be offering members and guests special green fees.
Designed by PGA legend and former British Open champion Tom Weiskopf, the par 72 course stretches for 7,241 yards along the shores of the bay and Puerto Cancun marina. There are several challenging holes and the winding fairway layout will test the accuracy of your drive.
Plan a golf getaway on your next Royal vacation; you really can try a different course each day. Your options in the Cancun area are Playa Mujeres, Puerto Cancun, Iberostar Cancun and TPC Cancun. More spectacular courses await you in the Riviera Maya, such as Iberostar Playa Paraiso, Grand Coral and El Camaleon at Mayakoba.
Contact the Golf & Restaurant Reservations Center (ext. 165) upon arrival at your resort to book tee times and sign up for one or more of the Royal Day tournaments offered by participating courses.
Golfers visiting us from November 10 to 16 may be interested in taking in some PGA golf during their stay. A field of 132 players, including some top names, will take to the fairways of the par 71 El Camaleon course to compete in the OHL Classic at Mayakoba, Mexico’s only PGA Tour event.
