Royal Resorts teamed up with RCI in December 2012 to offer members more international exchange benefits. RCI is the world’s largest vacation exchange network, offering its members nearly 4,500 resorts and hotels in approximately 100 countries, and a variety of other travel services.
RCI has around 1,200 more resorts than its closest international exchange competitor, giving members greater vacation choices and flexibility. Some 45 percent of all affiliated properties have won awards and 22 percent – including the Royal Resorts– have the prestigious Gold Crown Resort accolade.
The majority of the world’s leading hospitality brands, including household names such as Wyndham, Hilton, Fairmont, Disney, Sheraton and Four Seasons, are affiliated with RCI. And for members who prefer a smaller hotel or even a vacation villa, the global exchange network also includes iconic properties and vacation homes around the world that fit the bill. Exchange privileges can even be used to book cruises. Expansion continues and in 2013 alone 175 new properties joined the RCI global exchange network.
RCI has more than 3.7 million members worldwide and it facilitates around 1.9 million vacation exchanges each year through the RCI Weeks and RCI Points Programs.

If you become a Royal Resorts Signature Club Platinum member in order to take advantage of Signature Flexibility and you choose to deposit your resort week in exchange for Signature Points, these can be converted into RCI Points for international exchange purposes.

Many of our members are still members of Interval International. They can use the I.I. vacation exchange system as they have always done until their membership expires, providing that they pay the corresponding fees established by I.I. If they decide to renew their I.I. membership they may do so.
Royal Resorts properties are still listed in the Interval International Resort Directory.
It is possible for Royal Resorts members to be members of both RCI and I.I. vacation networks for maximum exchange power. However, it is not possible to deposit the same week in the two systems.
Existing RCI memberships with other resort groups cannot be merged with RCI accounts provided through the Royal Resorts Signature Club due to the exclusive benefits that our program offers. However, RCI Points from other companies may be used to stay at Royal Resorts properties.
