We are delighted to announce that the construction of Grand Residences by Royal Resorts® has begun. Heavy machinery and construction equipment is being moved into place at the beachfront site south of Puerto Morelos and a camp will be built to house the hundreds of workers who will be employed on the project.
The access road is being leveled and the first building to be erected at the site will be the machine house.
The project will comply with the strictest construction and ecological codes and an example of Royal Resorts’ commitment to environmental protection is its involvement in a program to restore and reforest the mangroves and wetlands behind the site, home to countless species of birds, including roseate spoonbills, ibis, snowy egrets and herons.
