On January 31, Cancun Airport representatives welcomed passenger number 13 million for the year. This breaks the previous record for passenger numbers of 12 million registered in 2008 and only goes to highlight the importance of Cancun as a regional hub and the gateway to Mexico’s most important travel destination, one of the world’s favorites.
